Cancellation Policy- Effective August 1, 2025

Barce Barks is delighted to welcome back pet parents, and their furry family members for the upcoming school year. We are incredibly grateful for the trust you place in us to care for your beloved pets and deeply value your continued business. As we embark on another year of providing reliable and loving care for your pets, we are introducing an important update to our dog walking, pet visits and pet sitting cancellation policy to ensure the safety and efficiency of our services.

Effective August 1st, we will be implementing a full-price cancellation fee for all services that are not canceled at least 24 hours in advance of the scheduled service time.

This change is being made to address two recurring issues that impact the safety and efficiency of our staff. In several instances, our staff have arrived for a scheduled service to find that the family is unexpectedly home, leading to startling encounters for both our staff and the homeowners. Additionally, there have been numerous occasions where our walkers have driven to a client's home only to discover that no one is there, resulting in lost time and resources that could have been allocated to another client.

We understand that plans can change unexpectedly, and we always strive to be as flexible as possible, However, these situations have become increasingly frequent and create challenges for our team. This new policy will help us ensure the safety of our walkers and clients, and allow us to continue providing the high-quality, reliable service you have come to expect.

We believe this updated policy will help us better serve all our clients by ensuring our team's schedules are accurate and that their time is used effectively. It is important to us that we maintain a professional and dependable reputation.

To cancel a scheduled service, please contact us via text at 703-627-6273 at least 24 hours before your scheduled service.  We appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we implement this new policy.
